Our client, a leader in robotic inspection and tooling solutions, is looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering (or similar). You’ll play a key role in supporting aerospace and advanced manufacturing customers, while enjoying the benefits of a 4-day working week.

The Role


Working in the Product Development Team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in metrology and robotics, with full training and mentoring.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Setting up and verifying metrology systems
  • Supporting the use of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) in robotic inspection
  • Processing and interpreting scan data with PolyWorks and other tools
  • Assisting in the delivery and validation of robotic systems
  • Preparing demos, reports, and technical investigations
  • Contributing to R&D and documenting best practices
  • Learning how to simulate measurement setups and use offline programming tools


What We’re Looking For


Essential

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar
  • Keen interest in metrology, measurement systems, or robotics
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence


Desirable

  • Familiarity with GD&T, CAD, or dimensional inspection
  • Exposure to 3D analysis software (e.g. PolyWorks)
  • Comfortable working hands-on with engineering equipment
  • Detail-oriented and methodical with data
