Graduate Engineer Intern

Warringtonfire, part of Element, has an opportunity for two Graduate Engineers to join our business as an Intern working for our Quality Assurance team for a duration of 3 months. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing organisations within the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Building materials
• Materials science

You  will gain valuable experience and understanding of the different functions of the business, plus build the foundations for a career in the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry

Skills/Qualifications:

• Candidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
• Educated to degree standard, in a science or engineering subject
• Analytical & inquisitive in nature and strong problem-solving skills
• Technically focused
• Keen interest in all aspects of fire safety
• Methodical and highly organised: capable of meeting deadlines
• Able to prioritise and reach decisions quickly and effectively
• Able to make informed decisions and confidence to stand by / justify these decisions
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail
• Presentation skills
• Ideally an interest in the quality assurance profession
