Description

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to support the Software Platform Services (SPS) team at Verily. This team builds shared software infrastructure that enables product squads across the company to deliver impactful health solutions at scale. In this role, you’ll work across multiple engineering teams to drive clarity, speed, and execution in a fast-evolving environmentβ€”all in service of Verily’s mission to make healthcare more proactive and personalized.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional programs from planning through execution by aligning engineering, product, and design stakeholders.

  • Continuously evaluate and iterate on team processes to reduce friction and improve delivery speed.

  • Facilitate clear trade-off decisions while keeping stakeholders aligned to evolving priorities and timelines.

  • Monitor key performance indicators and use them to prioritize the most impactful work.

  • Communicate program status, risks, and resource needs to senior leadership and technical leads.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a variety of cross functional stakeholders including UXD, SWEs, Product Management among others to drive the roadmap through to completion. Continuously manage tradeoffs when delivering against the roadmap and communicate changes to stakeholders.Β 

  • Iterate on processes, allowing them to scale, and Verily to release working software faster.

  • Establish and continuously monitor KPIs to ruthlessly prioritize work that will add the most benefit against the KPIs.Β 

  • Communicate with Sr. Leadership on a regular basis to defend and amend priorities, surface risks and mitigation strategies, and provide status updates on large XFN efforts.Β 

  • Work with Engineering Managers and Technical Leads to effectively manage resources to staff projects in accordance with the priorities set.Β 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Technical Program Management or equivalent role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven success delivering software programs in a cross-functional environment.

  • 3+ years of Agile/Scrum experience or a Scrum certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in health tech or regulated software environments.

  • Skilled in breaking down complex, ambiguous problems into executable workstreams.

  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels of seniority.

  • Experience with experimentation, release management, or engineering operations.

  • Excellent communicator who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
