The team is undertaking a large body of work concerned with uplifting the voice recording applications themselves to be on the latest versions available, positioning for private and/or public cloud deployments, development of an industry leading control framework for the management and provision of the recorded user population and the operational integrity of the data generated. As a Vice President - Technical Product Manager with the Global Capture Product team within the Enterprise Communication Platforms organization, you will be responsible for setting the long-term strategy for the product, organizing the teams for optimal delivery, managing the P&L and driving engagement with our customers and stakeholders. The global feature teams are based out of New Jersey, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, London, Columbus and Plano, and are agile and multi-functional, working collaboratively to deliver excellent outcomes for our customers and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- 5+ years defining and communicating product vision and strategy in line with the customersβ long-term business goals for compliant voice capture, governance, retention, discovery, and analytics while delivering complex, multi-quarter programs end to end by orchestrating cross-region feature teams across Engineering, SRE, and Controls; aligns milestones, dependencies, and risk controls to meet committed SLOs/SLAs and business outcomes
- Identifies market need, interfaces with line of business technology customers as needed to define the scope and position of the product, and defines and manages the productβs business metrics, including cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, reliability, and customer-facing SLOs/SLAs
- Creates and maintains the product definition, multi-year roadmap, and customer-facing SLOs/SLAs for capture success, ingestion latency, indexing throughput, retention, discovery time, and MTTR; prioritizes the product backlog and maintains a clear vision for the product
- Drives API-first product capabilities for ingestion, entitlements, eDiscovery, supervision, reporting, and admin; establishes standards for versioning, documentation, auth, quotas, and observability
- Partners with architecture, engineering, risk, and operations to design capture pipelines, entitlement and population management, recording assurance and reconciliation, immutability and encryption controls, journaling, legal hold, and defensible deletion
- Manages the senior stakeholder community and customer advisory boards; leads by example while exhibiting robust risk measures and advocating for adherence throughout the development lifecycle
- Owns the P&L of the product, establishes unit economics, and drives our cloud strategy for information archive platforms across on-prem and public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) while tracking and evaluating vendor roadmaps; leads make/buy/partner decisions and integrations across recording, archiving, governance providers

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Cloud experience delivering enterprise-grade platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including secure storage, encryption and key management, multi-region DR, resiliency, cost optimization, and observability
- API product ownership: defines strategy, roadmap, and governance for developer-facing APIs and webhooks; sets versioning and deprecation policies; drives adoption, SLAs, and developer experience; partners with engineering on auth standards, rate limits/quotas, and telemetry
- Experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog, and documentation for enterprise technology solutions; clear definition and reporting of SLOs/SLAs and outcome-driven KPIs
- Understanding of the end-to-end software development process, including product strategy development, customer engagement, architecture design, engineering, implementation, and operations
- Understanding of software development methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum), with experience writing technical stories in Jira and documentation in Confluence using industry-standard notation
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to senior management and customers; proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements impacting communications retention and supervision in financial services (e.g., SEC 17a-4, FINRA, MiFID II, FCA), and how these translate into product and control objectives
- Product management and engineering experience with emphasis on delivering digital communications governance and archiving systems to end users and control functions within an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with any archiving and governance platforms such as: NICE, Verint, Dubber, CallCabinet, ASC, Numonix, AudioCodes, Smarsh, Global Relay, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft Purview, Veritas, Theta Lake; understanding of journaling, retention schedules, supervision, eDiscovery, legal hold
- Applied experience of digital communications governance and archiving systems, including recording assurance (record completeness), entitlement and recorded user population management, provisioning, and large-scale operations
