About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer (NZ) to join our Offsite Engineering team, based in Christchurch. Reporting to the Design Services Manager ANZ, this role plays a key part in strengthening and expanding Pryda/ITW’s engineering capability across New Zealand.

This is a dynamic technical role where your work directly improves customer outcomes, supports innovation, and elevates our industry reputation.

What You’ll Do

As our Structural Engineer, you will:

• Deliver proactive and reactive engineering solutions to our fabricators and builders, both on‑site and off‑site.
• Provide engineering expertise and support to enhance customer value, problem‑solve complex structural issues and improve build outcomes.
• Create and deliver engineering training, including presentations, technical papers, and updates across key stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to software, hardware and system innovation, including supporting new product development, beta testing, and ongoing solution improvement.
• Engage with industry stakeholders, leading discussions on engineering compliance, best practice, and new technologies.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor of Engineering preferably Structural, but would consider mechanical and civil
• CPEng or the ability to work towards acquiring it
• Strong technical engineering capability and understanding of the construction industry.
• Customer‑focused mindset and the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and building capability across the industry.
• Strong analytical, commercial and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• High level of adaptability in a dynamic environment.
