Position Details

Job Purpose

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for creating and

managing product definitions for complex robot-centric automation solutions that

match customer needs and balance Onward Robotics business requirements.

Duties and

Responsibilities

Β 

●Recognize and understand customer pain points and market trends and work

collaboratively with Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to translate

those learnings into product definitions aligned with the Onward Robotics

product roadmap and business strategy

●Represent the customer to the robot software engineering team to ensure that

product requirements and acceptance criteria are understood, prioritized, and

built accordingly. Refine and maintain the team’s backlog and development

queue

●Understand and evaluate technical debt and integrate into roadmap to prioritize

alongside new feature initiatives

● Communicate product vision across the organization and to current and

potential customers. Participate in customer meetings as a subject matter

expert and to evaluate the ongoing performance of the fleet from the customer

perspective.

●Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry for potential

use or investment and assess potential value or threat from emerging products

or companies

●Actively search for issues as well as opportunity gaps and work collaboratively

with hardware engineering and supply chain teams to identify mitigations and

additional product capabilities

●Contribute to development of training materials and assist with internal and

customer training for product

●Contribute to creation of sales and marketing materials and assist development

of pricing models as needed

comprise an autonomous system and how they can interact with

leaders and cross-functional stakeholders and navigating interpersonal

●Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to communicate

complex technical issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences

including customers and C-Level leaders

●7+ years of experience in Product Management of complex products involving

both software and hardware components from feature definition to project

deployment

●Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with a high level of personal

accountability in the face of ambiguity and in fast-paced, pressured situations

●Strong working knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies is

preferred

●Strong working knowledge and experience with Jira and the definition and

creation of Jira workflows is preferred

●Experience delivering mobile robotic systems especially in a warehouse or retail

environment, is a strong plus

●Working knowledge of data analytics and dashboard tools and the ability to

query data to analyze performance indicators is a plus
