WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This leader will be pivotal in translating vision from non-technical stakeholders into actionable product requirements, while at the same time, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. As a key to continual product development, this independent contractor will oversee multiple stakeholder inputs with excellence, while diplomatically guiding enthusiasm for new ideas toward strategic, achievable outcomes.Β 

The Senior Product ManagerΒ  will drive the organization toward continual digital product improvement, based on the goal to be the best at telling the story of Jesus to the world, by performing the following.Β

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Connect Vision with Execution:

  • Serve as the crucial bridge between church leadership and development partners

  • Transform visionary ideas into structured product roadmaps and requirements

  • Create a cohesive strategy that aligns with Churchome's mission while being technically feasible

Enhance the Digital Ministry Experience:

  • Drive improvements to app stability, performance, and user engagement

  • Develop features that foster community building and spiritual growth

  • Establish processes to capture user feedback and continuously improve the experience

Lead with Data and Insight:

  • Use analytics to understand user behavior and guide product decisions

  • Create reports that help leadership understand app performance and impact

  • Balance quantitative metrics with the qualitative aspects of spiritual connection

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 5+ years of experience developing and growing digital products, preferably mobile apps with content or community-focused features

  • You can navigate between high-level vision and tactical execution with equal comfort

  • You're comfortable operating in an environment where you may need to build product management processes

  • You carry a heart for Jesus and are passionate about helping others connect with their faith through technology

  • You have experience managing external development partners and can hold them accountable to quality standards and delivery timelines

  • You understand mobile app engagement metrics and can use data to inform product decisions

  • You're skilled at gathering and synthesizing user feedback to drive product improvements

  • Competitive monthly rate, commensurate with experience

  • Starting with a 6-month contract
  • Invoicing required; paid via ACH on a monthlyΒ  basis
