Senior Project ManagerΒ 

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a product and technical focus, to take ownership of our project roadmap with 5+ years of product management experience with direct product ownership.

Initially a stand-alone role in our Dallas location, the ideal candidate will have grown their knowledge and expertise and have qualification and experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience building/shipping technical products. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent before putting these skills in practice and building on methodologies and practical application.

IT industry experience, a clear understanding of agile SDLC methods and framework scrum, Kanban scaled frameworks as SAFe or Spotify will be a plus.
A previous QA engineer with years of experience working with complex systems from the perspective of quality assurance mindset is advantageous.

The emphasis in this role is not to drive business features forward, but to ensure that the quality of implementation is high for those features and ensure quality and execution in line with customer expectations.

Previous industry experience of Travel, Payments or Fintech, and experience in a start up or scale up would also be an advantage. A Continuous Improvement qualification would also be desirable.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead the product creation and continuous improvement through the whole product development lifecycle.
  • Autonomous and proactively lead all project management activities, and act without supervision effectively handling all the product-related sub-streams insight the program.
  • Identify and analyze market opportunities, target audience needs and define product vision and strategy.

  • Using your highly skilled communication, you’ll manage expectations of product users and program stakeholders seamlessly and expectations set clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders, project managers, and teams to reach a common understanding of the solution to address the customer needs and influence positively for desired outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team on go-to-market strategy and product roadmap.
  • Own creation and execution of the project roadmap and ensure delivery exceeds expectations, on time and on budget in line with customer and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop high-level requirements and work with Design, Technical and QA teams on their details
  • Closely define prioritization and create an approach that directly address the customers feedback and pain points
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teams to bring everyone on the journey with you
  • Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements, creating clear and concise business justification and rationale for buy in to process improvements across a matrix organization
  • Flexibility and agility on ownership of all planned and reactive projects and delivery that reactively driven by business needsΒ 

Skills you will have fine-tuned:

  • Experience building products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, and development launch.
  • A clear understanding of principles and specifics of software development methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of business analysis activities and techniques.
  • Awareness of the latest IT industry and digitalization trends.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least JIRA & Confluence)
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by an excellent communicator, a developed presentation style, and effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to combine creativity, innovation, and analytics without losing sight of the user, creative storytelling is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills to make a critical assessment of the information from numerous sources, an understanding of data and how to translate it into actionable insights.
  • Lead with clear vision and define clear goals, priorities, objectives.
  • Self sufficient with excellent time-management, ability to handle multi-tasking activities, and changing prioritization is essential.
  • Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams and geographies, as an experienced global leader.
  • Strong strategic aptitude: proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
  • Practical product manager experience in retail and FinTech or PaymentsΒ 
  • Understanding of UI / UX principals.
  • Experience in collaborating with designers and development teams and the aptitude to motivate and or inter-functional teams with your positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of prototyping tools.
  • Experience in conducting A / B tests and experimentation and proof of concept.
  • Domain expertise: Airline Payment & Ticketing, Financial Reconciliation, Airline Systems Integration, Amadeus XPP, Payment Orchestration, Payment Gateway Management.
  • High flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to modify your approach as per changing stakeholders, conditions, circumstances and feedback, a quick learner and failing fast to pivot the reset plan as needed.
  • Self-confident, with a continuous improvement mindset, that is always learning, eager to receive feedback and adapt in the spirit of growth personally and professionally - all feedback is an opportunity to improve.
