ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Global Program Managers Lead will be accountable for the combined Global and International Programs teams, leading approximately 15β20 Directors and Senior Managers responsible for coordinating work across US and International stakeholders. The role ensures the timely, high-quality delivery of complex CMO-led initiatives from enterprise-level global design through in-market execution across 60+ markets.
This role brings together two complementary remits under a single point of accountability: global program orchestration and in-market implementation. Responsibilities include establishing prioritized global programs in partnership with the CMO Leadership Team and global program owners; defining enterprise-wide standards; managing executive reporting, governance, and interdependencies; and partnering with US and International Commercial leaders to prioritize countries and brands for deployment.
The Senior Director will define the teamβs strategy and operating model, build comprehensive program plans, and proactively mitigate risks to enable efficient, on-time execution. The role ensures the global plan of record is translated into regional and local roadmaps that uphold global standards while reflecting local business priorities. It also ensures International and in-market perspectives are represented in how initiatives are designed, sequenced, implemented, and measured.
Β
The Senior Director will serve as a strategic advisor to senior CMO, US, and International Commercial leaders on program orchestration, anticipating and addressing emerging business issues across the portfolio. The role will maintain close coordination with Change Management Directors, local Pilots in Command or project leads, and other in-market stakeholders to ensure Commercial and CMO stakeholders have clear visibility into roadmaps, project status, risks, and adoption requirements.
The role requires a leader who can bring discipline and structure to ambiguity, thrive in βwhite space,β operate effectively across cultures and time zones, and apply a growth mindset and Agile methods to drive consistent, high-quality delivery.
