Build the Unified Platform
Own the product vision and roadmap for the combined Vetted + MMI background investigations platform, synthesizing the strengths of both systems into a cohesive, best-in-class product.
Drive discovery, prioritization, and delivery of features that close gaps between the two platforms and unlock new value for customers across the public sector.
Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship iteratively and validate product bets with real users before scaling.
Spearhead Customer Migration
Define and execute the migration strategy that moves customers from both legacy platforms onto the destination product β with minimal disruption and maximum confidence.
Serve as the internal expert on platform differences; build tools, documentation, and playbooks that make migration smooth for customers and customer-facing teams alike.
Collaborate with Customer Success, Implementation, and Sales to sequence migrations intelligently and manage customer expectations throughout the journey.
Deliver on Existing Commitments
Maintain forward momentum on final implementations for deals sold onto the legacy eSoph platform, ensuring customers experience a seamless onboarding even as the underlying product evolves.
Triage, prioritize, and clear blockers for in-flight implementations in close coordination with implementation and support teams.
Be the Connective Tissue
Translate complex, cross-platform dynamics into clear product decisions and crisp communication for stakeholders at all levels.
Represent the voice of the customer in every roadmap decision β grounding strategy in real feedback from agencies, investigators, and HR administrators.
Partner with go-to-market teams to develop launch plans, enablement materials, and competitive positioning for the unified platform.
A builder-at-heart who thrives in ambiguity and gets energized (not overwhelmed) by multi-dimensional, high-stakes product work.
Equally comfortable in strategic planning sessions and in the weeds of a customer migration spreadsheet β you know when to zoom out and when to get granular.
A natural collaborator who can earn trust across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive leadership without formal authority.
Obsessed with customer outcomes, not just feature velocity β you measure success by whether customers are better off, not just whether tickets got shipped.
A clear, confident communicator who can distill complexity into a crisp narrative, a tight roadmap slide, or a decisive product decision.
What You Have
3β6+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS; experience in HR tech, background screening, compliance, or public sector a strong plus.
Demonstrated success owning a product through a significant transition β platform consolidation, M&A integration, major migration, or 0?1 launch.
Strong discovery and prioritization instincts: you know how to run customer interviews, synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals, and make defensible trade-off calls.
Experience working directly with customers on onboarding, migrations, or implementations β you're comfortable being the face of the product in high-stakes conversations.
Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of creating clarity and momentum where neither existed before.
Fluency with agile environments and standard product tooling (Jira, Confluence, Figma, Slack, etc.).
Β Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with background investigation workflows, credentialing, or similar compliance-heavy domains.Experience with platform M&A or post-acquisition product integration.
Exposure to customer migration programs at scale β moving hundreds of customers from one system to another.
Working knowledge of public sector procurement, agency operations, or government HR processes.
