Senior Product Manager

Purpose: Five Star Bank is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development, enhancement and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience standards. This role will also lead a dedicated team of Salesforce administrators, guiding execution, fostering growth, and ensuring delivery excellence across the platform.


Essential Functions:

  • Own and manage the Salesforce platform strategy, roadmap, and backlog across the bank’s business lines (e.g., retail, commercial, operations, marketing).
  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce professionals, providing direction, and support.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and prioritize features.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories and technical requirements for the Salesforce team.
  • Oversee the delivery of Salesforce features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with compliance, security, and data integrity standards.
  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems (e.g., core banking, marketing platforms).
  • Define and track platform KPIs and performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce governance standards, including change management, documentation, and user access control.
  • Support user adoption and training efforts across departments.
  • Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Β  Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.


Job Related Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field.
  • Prior Experience: 5+ years of Salesforce Product Management experience, with at least 2+ years of experience leading a team in a technical product delivery environment.
  • Licenses or Accreditation: PMP preferred.

Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, workflows, automation tools (Flow, Process Builder), and security model.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, API integrations, and third-party Salesforce apps.
  • Familiarity with product management principles, including roadmap development, backlog management, and prioritization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in agile environments and proficiency in using agile tools and frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably financial services or banking.
