Purpose and Scope:Β
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to help lead key initiatives within the healthcare technology sector. This role is ideal for a leader who combines a strategic mindset with practical, hands-on management skills. The successful candidate will be experienced in driving program outcomes that align with organizational goals and client needs, particularly in environments involving federal government contracts in CMS, HHS and other civilian agencies.Β
The role reports directly to the business unit leader and includes coordination and collaboration across eSimplicity functions, as well as participation in strategy development with company leaders.Β The successful candidate in this developmental role will learn about the government contracting business, potentially leading to opportunities to be a client-facing project manager.Β
Responsibilities:Β
- Support Program Director in key aspects of managing a large program, emphasizing modernization and efficient data management in healthcareΒ
- Support eSimplicity program oversight business rhythms, such as Program Management Reviews and Program Financial ReviewsΒ
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with customers and across eSimplicity functions. Seek to understand the stakeholder mission, vision, priorities and objectives, and ensure that project/program activities align with themΒ
- Independently manage multiple small projects (both internal and client-facing projects)Β
- Manage scope and schedule on projects, including monitoring activities, resource planning, project initiation and project execution.Β Β
- Help achieving exceptional contract delivery for teams, including tracking performance metrics, objectives and key results (OKRs), and project outcomesΒ
- Help to create a culture and environment that inspires team members to produce and results in program delivery that is cohesive and collaborative.Β
- Support the BU leader in corporate strategy development and business initiatives, including:Β
- Quarterly BU off-site planning β establish impactful topics and presenters, coordinate logistics, develop content and help facilitate off-sites in partnership with the BU leaderΒ
- Coordination with eSimplicity Practice Directors β help to efficiently and effectively implement best practices in delivery in partnership with Practice Directors and Program DirectorsΒ
- EOS Facilitation β help set, track and achieve corporate goals and objectives based on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) within the BUΒ
- Communications β representing the Business Unit by coordinating with the Communications team as they develop and refresh content for eSimplicityβs website and social media presence.Β
- Proposal Support β assisting the Program Management Representative in win strategy, staffing inputs (LOE development), risk management, business case development, writing and reviewing for proposalsΒ
- Foster strong partnerships with government and healthcare entities, aligning strategies for shared success.Β
- Establish and codify delivery and operational processes & support the success of the day-to-day operations and delivery.Β
- Regularly monitor processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement, and drive transformational changes from a business, people and process perspective, effectively creating new behaviors where needed.Β
- Support cross functional program initiatives by driving intra-program collaboration and building client status reportingΒ
Required Skills:Β
- Strategic Agility: Capacity to anticipate and adapt to industry shifts, maintaining a focus on both long-term objectives and immediate execution.Β Candidate should be process and metrics-oriented, and able to analyze data and adjust projects and timelines based on the analysis resultsΒ

- Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability in nurturing and leading diverse teams, instilling a culture of creativity and responsibility.Β Β

- Communication: Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, acting as a coordinator between initiatives and stakeholders.Β Β
Required Qualifications:Β
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting, including extensive experience in agile project/program management within the federal healthcare sector.Β Β
- A track record of managing substantial healthcare IT programs.Β Β
- Knowledgeable in Medicare, Medicaid, and broader healthcare regulatory frameworks.Β Β
- Dedication to healthcare innovation and excellence in program execution.Β Β
- Effective communication skills for engaging and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.Β Β
Desired Qualifications:Β Β
- CMS and Healthcare Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CMS regulations and experience with complex healthcare projects.Β
- Agile: Deep knowledge and experience of working in Agile Scrum and SAFe in the federal sector.Β
- Business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a flair for identifying growth opportunities in healthcare.Β
Working Environment:
eSimplicity supports a hybrid work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.Β
Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.Β
