Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of control frameworks with confidence and professionalism
  • Communicate complex regulatory and audit-related concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring the message to the audience
  • Effectively communicate audit engagement progress and results remotely to senior management, providing insights and updates as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to delegate responsibilities, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery of audit artifacts and milestones
  • Assess internal operations and controls, maintaining and updating documentation to support regulatory and compliance standards
  • Identify, evaluate, document, and lead remediation efforts for risks and deficiencies uncovered during audits

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit processes, or a related field within SaaS, technology, or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of key industry and regulatory frameworks such as, SOC 1 & SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, ISO Series, C5, CSA STAR, HITRUST, and others
  • Proven ability to integrate business acumen, technical acumen, and process expertise to define client (internal/external) engagement and program execution
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence effectively across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
  • Ability to succinctly explain complex auditing topics to audiences with little to no auditing experience, providing clarity and understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising attention to detail
  • Strong track record of achieving results through cross-functional, virtual teams and influencing stakeholders across business units, functions, and geographies
  • Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence and other collaboration and project management tools is strongly preferred
  • Analytical mindset with a resourceful, solution-oriented approach to think broadly in addressing compliance challenges
  • Attention to detail, proven analytical and astute problem-solving skills are a must

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
