Job Summary

The Product Manager IV leads responsibility for products in multiple lines of business including managing, providing guidance, mentorship and coaching to other product managers. Additionally, the Product Manager IV recommends industry best practices and executes established product strategy to assigned areas of work or projects.

Essential Functions
β€’ Analyzes the market, competitive position and customer research
β€’ Defines and delivers product strategy and product roadmap for assigned business, systems or application products
β€’ Proposes and recommends goals, metrics and objectives for online products, applications or systems, and plans assigned projects to help achieve department goals
β€’ Leads in making recommended changes to policies, guidelines, internal initiatives that address system or application evolution and product innovation
β€’ Possesses a business, results-oriented and Agile mind-set when problem solving, developing recommendations, conducting analyses and developing presentations
β€’ Demonstrated skills and abilities to model, communicate, work and thrive in a collaborative work environment using Agile principles and practice
β€’ Demonstrated business communications skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, influencing and negotiations)
β€’ Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of management principles and practices
β€’ Demonstrated project management (including time, budget and schedule) skills
β€’ Applies and manages others in using industry best practices (including Agile) and established product strategy to often vaguely defined assignments
β€’ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of enterprise applications, systems or products
β€’ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of customer requirements and needs; demonstrated customer service orientation

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
β€’ Acts as point of contact for the relationship with business and technology partners to gather and understand requirements and to deliver product roadmap
β€’ Works actively with the business and team to resolve issues
β€’ Exercises discretion in determining priorities and the best methods to use when directing team efforts and resolving product design or enhancement challenges
β€’ Provides research or develops options, and makes recommendations to effectively address design and enhancement issues
β€’ Integrates work schedules and collaborates with engineers
β€’ Experience developing and executing innovative strategic plans

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
β€’ Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline
β€’ 12+ years of product or content management experience or an equivalent combination of equivalent education and experience.
β€’ Experience related directly to technical product management, customer relationship management or content management experience
β€’ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Agile principles and practices
β€’ Five years as a technical lead, supervisor or manager where influencing, coaching, guiding and mentoring other employees was a major component of the job
β€’ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, cloud technologies and implementations
