About NextGen Leads:

NextGen Leads is a performance-based marketing company dedicated to helping our partners grow through high-quality lead generation and smart technology. We thrive on innovation, agility, and transparency, with a team that’s passionate about making data-driven decisions to fuel growth.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager with a strong foundation in data analytics to help drive the next generation of our product. This role is approximately two-thirds product management and one-third data analysis, ideal for someone who loves building customer-centric products and isn’t afraid to dive deep into data.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Development, Sales, Marketing, and other leaders to shape our roadmap, define product features, and ensure our data infrastructure and insights empower strong decision-making across the business.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Product Management
    • Own the product roadmap by gathering, refining, prioritizing, and organizing feature ideas from across the team
    • Write clear, concise, and comprehensive PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) that fully capture business requirements and guide the development team effectively
    • Help guide the progress of projects and maintain a high standard of quality for our projects with routine check-ins and meetings with project teams as needed
    • Triage bugs and feature requests, working with the Dev team to ensure development resources are focused on high-impact work
    • Serve as the voice of the customer: engage with users regularly, gather feedback, and turn insights into product direction
    • Drive product launches, ensuring features are complete, bugs are handled, and customer communications are proactive and clear
    • Develop wireframes to ensure optimal user experience and high adoption rate for new features and products
  • Data Analytics
    • Serve as the go-to resource for data questions across Sales, Marketing, and Dev
    • Conduct proactive and reactive data analyses to guide decision-making, uncover insights, and recommend strategic actions
    • Monitor and improve the company's data collection practices to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Partner with teams to interpret data and ensure it drives real, measurable impact
    • Co-manage custom reporting (SQL queries, data validation, report structure) in partnership with DevOps
    • Own long-standing analytical questions, bringing structure and resolution to them

What We’re Looking For:

  • Product Mindset: You’ve been a PM or worked closely with Product teams and truly understand the value of product management.
  • Data Proficiency: Strong SQL skills are a must. You know how to structure analyses, extract meaningful insights, and present them clearly.
  • Technical Aptitude: While you don’t need to be a full-stack developer, basic programming skills (especially in JavaScript) are highly desirable.
  • Startup/Tech DNA: You’ve worked in fast-paced tech environments and thrive in ambiguity, learning quickly and executing decisively.
  • Strong Communication: You can take complex technical or analytical information and make it understandable and actionable for any audience.
