Position Overview

This role can be based in any of our US locations, or US-Remote.

Vantage is seeking a Product Manager with a foundation in engineering, infrastructure, or technical program delivery to support the evolution and execution of our global data center product strategy. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Product Innovation, this role is responsible for defining product vision, shaping long term roadmaps, and ensuring delivery of high value standards and solutions that balance business needs with technical feasibility.

This is not a traditional software product role. While you will apply product management principles, you will do so in a context that includes design, construction, operations, and engineering standards. Ideal candidates bring design or preconstruction experience in data centers – or an architectural or MEP background- and have since transitioned into product or program ownership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and evolve the product vision and strategy for assigned products and design standards, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder impact.

  • Translate strategic direction into clear requirements, success metrics, and delivery targets, ensuring outcomes are measurable and impactful.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, construction, operations, and regional teams to refine requirements, align priorities, and resolve conflicts.

  • Drive continuous improvement of design standards, documentation, and delivery processes, applying product management best practices.

  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure standards remain scalable, competitive, and adaptable across the regions.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of product initiativesβ€”from concept through launchβ€”ensuring quality, consistency, and timely execution.

  • Monitor adoption, performance, and effectiveness of released standards, using data and feedback to guide future iterations.

  • Act as a key communicator and advocate for product direction, progress, and decisions, tailoring messages for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in Product Management, Program Management, or a related role (ideally in an engineering, construction, or infrastructure setting).

  • Background in data centers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), civil/structural design, or related technical disciplines.

  • Proven ability to define product vision and strategy, and to manage complex roadmaps and backlogs across multiple business regions.

  • Experience applying product management principles to physical infrastructure or technical documentation.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with demonstrated ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.

  • Skilled at influencing and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, evolving environments.

  • Ability to produce clear, actionable requirements and success measures that drive delivery.

  • PMP, Agile, or similar certification a plus.

  • National and international travel required is expected to be between 5% and 10%, but may vary over time as the business evolves.

Physical Demands and Special Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop or kneel; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Additional Details

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
