The American Auto Shield Product Manager - Data Warehousing is a full-time, on-site position at our Lakewood, CO office.


We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of our enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and related data platform capabilities. We are currently in transition from a legacy warehouse to a new unified MS fabric warehousing system. This role is ideal for someone who understands data warehousing not just as a technical system, but as a product that empowers business analytics, operational reporting, and advanced data science use cases including AI/ML model development.

You will collaborate with engineering, data architecture, analytics, and business stakeholders to ensure our data platform delivers trusted, scalable, and high-value data products.

Salary

The Product Manager earns competitive compensation from $120,000-160,000.*


Β Product Strategy & Vision

  • Help redefine corporate culture on the potential and effective value of data analytics for all aspects of our business.
  • Define and communicate the strategic vision for the data warehouse as a core enterprise product supporting analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.
  • Develop a multi-year product roadmap aligned with business outcomes, platform modernization goals, data governance standards, and data terminology alignments across our many product domains and business units.
  • Identify opportunities to expand data assets, improve data quality, and reduce friction in data consumption.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Translate business requirements into well-defined product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and manage a product backlog using data-driven decision making, balancing technical foundation work with business-value features.
  • Partner with data engineering and report development teams to guide solution design, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary interface between business teams (BI/analytics, operations insights, finance, dataΒ science) and technical teams.
  • Facilitate alignment acrossΒ stakeholders, gathering requirements, managing expectations, and ensuring transparency in progress and assessing risks.
  • Aligning with engineering leadership to drive delivery and foster scalable predictable results.Β 

Data & Platform Expertise

  • Bring deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts (modeling, ELT/ETL pipelines, orchestration, data quality, governance, and lineage).
  • Understand the needs of data consumers including analysts, data scientists, and operational reporting teams.
  • Drive the integration of AI/ML workloads by demonstrating value and identifying and selling potential value.
  • Participation in the QA of developed solutions to ensure features and functions have been implemented accurately
  • Creates and maintains updated documentation on solution functionality, data organization, data terminology and linage, and business reporting through the use of data governance tools.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assignedΒ

This job has no immediate supervisory responsibilities. But may lead to having direct reports in the future.



Requirements

What You Need to Join Our Team

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum six years of related work experience
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data warehousing, and modern cloud data platforms
  • Proven ability to support analytics, operational reporting, and data science/AI/ML use cases.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, data modeling, verification, and methodology development
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization – SQL proficiency preferred
  • Current vs Future State analysis with milestone development and progress tracking.
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong affinity towards collaboration.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Education/CertificationsΒ 

  • Masters or Bachelor’s in business administration preferred
  • IIBA certifications preferred
  • Agile Certified Product Owner preferred
