As a Product Manager, Consumer AI & Growth at Hello Clever, you will own product discovery and delivery across the consumer-facing experience, with a focus on the app, AI-assisted personalization, consumer engagement, payment confidence, and repeat behavior. You will work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Growth, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Risk, Operations, and merchant-facing teams to make Hello Clever more valuable for consumers while helping merchants drive repeat purchase, customer engagement, and measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Consumer App Experience: Improve the Hello Clever app journey across onboarding, discovery, payment confidence, reward tracking, account settings, notifications, and post-purchase engagement.

Consumer AI & Personalization: Explore and ship practical AI-powered experiences that help consumers discover relevant rewards, understand value, build smarter habits, and engage with merchants in timely, useful, and trusted ways.

Consumer Growth & Behavior Loops: Design product mechanics that turn one-off cashback into repeat consumer behavior, stronger merchant relationships, and a clearer value exchange between consumers, Hello Clever, and merchants.

Product Discovery & Experimentation: Use qualitative research, behavioral insight, funnel data, support signals, and rapid experiments to identify consumer needs, prioritize opportunities, and validate what drives durable engagement.

Merchant Value Through Consumer Outcomes: Partner with merchant, growth, and data teams to ensure consumer experiences support merchant objectives such as repeat purchase, conversion, offer performance, customer engagement, and measurable ROI.

Trust, Risk & Operational Clarity: Build experiences that make payments, rewards, refunds, eligibility, notifications, and account activity easy to understand while protecting consumer trust, privacy, and regulated fintech expectations.

Metrics, Launch & Enablement: Define success metrics and guardrails, monitor adoption and retention, support launches, and create the feedback loops teams need to improve consumer and merchant outcomes over time.
Youβre a Perfect Fit if You Have
- 5+ years of experience in product management, growth product, consumer experience, marketplace, fintech, ecommerce, payments, AI product, or a closely related digital product role. Fintech or consumer app experience is preferred.
- Experience working on consumer-facing mobile or web products, especially onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, rewards, personalization, notifications, wallets, checkout, or marketplace discovery.
- Experience scaling consumer-facing products in a startup or scale-up environment, with strong ownership across product strategy, discovery, experimentation, delivery, and iteration.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous consumer behavior problems into clear goals, trade-offs, requirements, experiments, and next steps.
- Experience working directly with engineering, design, data, marketing, and go-to-market teams to ship product improvements from discovery through delivery.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to balance consumer value, merchant value, business impact, technical feasibility, privacy, risk, and brand trust.
- Curiosity about AI in consumer products, including where AI can create useful personalization, reduce friction, improve relevance, or build confidence without becoming gimmicky or intrusive.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, rewards, cashback, ecommerce checkout, marketplaces, retail media, growth loops, or regulated consumer technology environments.
- Familiarity with real-time payments, wallets, payment status flows, refunds, disputes, cashback eligibility, reward redemption, or transaction-led engagement.
- Experience improving mobile app onboarding, consumer activation, habit formation, referral, lifecycle messaging, reward mechanics, or retention funnels.
- Experience with AI-assisted product experiences, recommendation systems, segmentation, experimentation platforms, behavioral analytics, SQL, dashboards, or data exploration.
- A strong instinct for consumer trust, including clear communication around money movement, rewards value, eligibility rules, consent, data use, and privacy.
