Hanwha Vision America (HVA) is seeking a results-driven Product Manager for VMS (Video Management System). Β This is a great opportunity for someone with industry experience and technical know-how. Β You’ll work within the product management organization, and although your role will be VMS specific, you will also need to become familiar with the rest of our portfolio. Β 

In this unique and global role, you will share your product, passion, knowledge and expertise across various audiences - including support, sales, integrators, end-users, and other PMs. Β You’ll engage with and present to large groups of people including executives, so you need to be comfortable on camera, on a stage, or a show floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the product expert
  • Provide answers, thought leadership, insights, and support related to your product.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key leaders, customers and stakeholders, establish trust and showcase deep knowledge of your product.Β 
  • Provide input to PM leadership based on the interactions you are having both with the product as well as with Sales, FAE and customers, to drive product development.
  • Develop and present content for various engagement formats, including demos, videos, workshops, and live and recorded webinars.Β 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, customers and sales
  • Stay informed on the competitive landscape, sharing relevant insights within Hanwha to improve products and strategies.Β 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in the video security industry, preferably with part of that being in a customer-facing role, with deep knowledge of cameras and VMS systems, as well as a basic understanding of related networking equipment and protocols.

  • Track record of continuous improvement across a product or service, whether internal or external. Β  Do you leave things better than you found them?Β 
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Flexibility to host or attend late-night or early-morning meetings with stakeholders, where you will lead discussions, provide updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams during hours that align with multiple time zones.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 20%
  • Proven ability to engage with a variety of audiences and comfortable with public speaking.
  • Ability to work independently while taking ownership of responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team.Β 
  • Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and goals efficiently.Β 
  • Project Management: Understanding of deliverables and dependencies for successful and on-time launches, including cross-functional deliverables.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape, with the ability to offer insights, with attention to detail.Β 
  • Comfortable with change: We’re doing a lot of new things at Hanwha and we like to move fast. Β Your role will help us make good decisions quickly, but we need you to be comfortable with change.Β
