Product Manager

As a Product Manager at EPC Power, you will own the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations, you will define product requirements, shape go-to-market strategies, and ensure our products meet customer needs and align with company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and feature requirements based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and internal champion for EPC Power’s product lines.
  • Develop business cases for new product opportunities, including ROI and cost analysis.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear, customer-focused product features.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Lead cross-functional product development initiatives through the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback post-launch, driving continuous improvement.
  • Support sales and marketing with product positioning, messaging, and training materials.
  • Analyze competitors and market conditions to identify product differentiation and innovation opportunities.
  • Manage product documentation, SKUs, and lifecycle status in coordination with supply chain and quality teams.
  • Work with Development Project Management to develop technical project schedules and drive development project execution

Requirements

Β 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in product management, preferably in power electronics, energy systems, or related industries.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with engineers and executives alike.
  • Experience creating MRDs, PRDs, and managing product roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated success in launching hardware-based products.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Productboard.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s in Engineering or Business.
  • Experience with grid-tied, grid-forming, or hybrid inverter systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE 1547, UL 1741, or CSA standards.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-stage manufacturing environments.

Pay: $140,000 - $175,000
