Job Responsibilities
- Develop the engineering solution and document through method statements, risk assessments, drawings and calculations.
- Validate the use of specialist heavy-lift equipment, develop new equipment where necessary and develop specialist solutions for the most challenging projects
- Ensure the engineering plan is followed during the job execution and contribute to operations management on jobsite when required.
- Where necessary the engineer will form part of the project execution team onsite.
- Formulate and present possible engineering solutions and issue accurate advice at request or at own initiative, taking into account the applicable standards.
- Organisation of document control for incoming and outgoing documents and responsibility for ensuring correct authorisations are achieved for submission of documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
- Previous demonstratable experience working within a similar role.
- Computer skills including CAD and Microsoft Office.
- English, fluent proficiency verbal and written and UK right to work without restriction.
- Full UK driving license essential.
- Appointed Person qualification desirable.
