In this leadership role, you will lead data app product builds forΒ the Marketing & Activation organizations at Sony Pictures Entertainment. You will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of data-driven toolsβincluding predictive models, visually impactful dashboards, and advanced data applications. Collaborating with stakeholders and expert analytics teams, you will help transform data into actionable insights that empower decision-making across the business. Β
Key Responsibilities:Β
Define and communicate data product vision and strategy, specifically focused on the creation of business-first & business-embedded predictive models, data tools, dashboards or advanced data apps for the television production organizationΒ Β Β
Collaborate with marketing, media, insights & finance stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize data product features, parameters & outputs.Β
Ensure positive & collaborative relationships with expert analytics team, exhibiting deep understanding of various analytic disciplines, from data science, data engineering, data management, BI and data automation to help bring the best expert team together for every project.Β
Oversee cross-functional product development efforts, with excellence in project management and ensure timely delivery of tools & apps.Β
Develop and maintain product roadmaps.Β
Oversee product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond.Β
Ensure products meet business objectives and user needs.Β
Ensure positive & collaborative team unity, both with analytics leaders & business or creative leadersΒ
Ensure positive relationship with the business stakeholders, exhibiting deep understanding of entertainment & marketing lifecycle and goals.Β Embed where possible with stakeholder to help educate & empower data centricity and tools.Β Β
QualificationsΒ
BA, MBA, or MS in Marketing, Business, Operational Efficiency, or a related fieldΒ
10β12+ years of experience in product management and development, ideally in tech or entertainmentΒ
Proven success in managing and launching data-driven productsΒ
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills β teamwork & βone for allβ mentality is paramountΒ
Experience working with analytics teams and fostering a shared ownership mindsetΒ
Proficient in Agile methodologiesΒ
Passion for creating innovative, industry-leading productsΒ
Preferred QualificationsΒ
Experience in television or film marketing strongly preferred, or a larger studio environmentΒ
Genuine passion for film and televisionΒ
