We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Management Director who will drive meaningful innovation, shaping transformative software solutions that profoundly impact the lives of children with autism and developmental disabilities. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk and Technology Officer, you will be integral to bridge the gap between healthcare delivery and cutting-edge technology, bringing empathy, expertise, and strategic vision to every stage of product development.

This is a fully remote position; must be able to work core hours on Pacific time zone; occasional travel may be required; this role is a people manager.

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

  • Take full initiative and ownership of the product lifecycle, from ideation through successful deployment and continuous improvement.

  • Apply your exceptional critical-thinking skills to proactively identify challenges and creatively solve complex problems.

  • Demonstrate an insatiable appetite for knowledge, continually updating yourself on healthcare business practices, systems, compliance requirements, and emerging technological advancements.

  • Skillfully collaborate with technical teams, confidently navigating IT complexities to ensure smooth and efficient product development.

  • Anticipate and proactively mitigate potential project roadblocks, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with strategic goals.

  • Manage projects meticulously, consistently meeting financial budgets and delivery timelines.

  • Leverage resourcefulness to maximize project outcomes, demonstrating robust results from allocated resources.

  • Serve as an empathetic and articulate communicator, successfully bridging business objectives and technological capabilities.

  • Commit to becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our product domain, healthcare services, and the distinct needs of the autism and developmental disability communities we serve.

  • Build a well-functioning and very efficient Product Management team that excels at creating a frictionless interface between business stakeholders and technology partners (internal and external).

  • Coach junior talent and set exemplary leadership and work ethics.

Qualifications:

This role will be best suited for someone who has experience with leading product development in healthcare software, managing projects from start to finish, and navigating the complexities of healthcare regulations, all while effectively collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven track record as a Senior Product Manager in healthcare and software development.

  • Exceptional project management and product lifecycle management skills.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, laws, regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.

  • Proven ability to deliver on time and within budget while achieving strategic goals.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated success in efficiently interfacing between business stakeholders and technology teams.

  • Passion for continuous learning and growth, with a dedication to social impact.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
  • Must attend any required training.

Compensation:

$197,000 - $235,000/ Annual
