Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Napier team. This position is ideally suited to someone who has a current CPEng practicing certificate (or on the pathway to becoming certified), with a wide range of experience in the field of land development and contract management. You will be able to work autonomously as a Civil Engineer in our Napier office, whilst playing a key role in the wider Engineering team across several Cheal offices. This is a key opportunity for a long-term association with a top level consultancy whilst playing a part in the ongoing growth of the company.
If you can display the following skills, we would love to hear from you:
A degree in Civil Engineering
5+ years' experience within the New Zealand Civil Engineering infrastructure environment, including earthworks, roading, sewerage, water supply and stormwater projects in both residential and commercial fields
Proven experience in job procurement and pricing
Exceptional client and project management skills
A desire to grow and develop people and business
Familiarity with Civil 3D or 12D
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
