Job Description

Due to strong project demand and continued growth in our building structures portfolio, we are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team and support a range of high-profile projects, including major airport infrastructure, transport and healthcare facilities.  

This role is available from our offices in Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, and Wellington, offering flexibility to work from a location that suits you best. 

How you’ll make a difference: 

  • Support in delivering structural analysis and design for building projects, from concept through to detailed design 
  • Provide hands-on site support, inspections and construction-phase engineering input 
  • Work within BIM workflows and contribute to sustainable design outcomes 
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery 
  • Support project management activities including budgeting, risk management and coordination

Qualifications

  • Graduate Attributes: We’re seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or any related discipline.   
  • Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.  
  • Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027. 
  • Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
