AECOM’s Water Infrastructure group delivers critical projects across water and wastewater treatment, dams, conveyance systems, industrial water, asset management, civil infrastructure, and more. ​ 

As a Graduate in our Water Infrastructure team, you’ll gain exposure to all phases of project delivery, from design to construction support, while learning from some of the industry’s best.  

How you’ll make a difference: 

• Contribute to the design and planning of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (typically pipelines, pump stations or treatment plants).​ 
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and project teams on multidisciplinary assignments.​ 
• Assist in preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.​ 
• Support tendering processes, site inspections, and construction-phase services.​ 
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to help deliver impactful water infrastructure solutions.

• Graduate Attributes: We’re seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity. 
• Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or any related discipline.  
• Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.  
• Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027. 
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
