YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:

• This position reports directly to the Global Civil/Structural Engineering  Manager
• Work alongside experienced Civil/Structural design engineers to prepare engineering deliverables in accordance with Company Management System, current legislation, project requirements and international standards.
• Implement assigned engineering work within the budget and project timescale.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest standards, legislation, products and practices relating to the relevant engineering discipline to reinforce professional competency

 BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Must have completed your Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 
• Good problem definition and problem-solving skills.
• Good technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with industry standard civil/structural software tools (e.g. Navisworks, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a group and on individual tasks within a larger team.
• Legally authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Preferred

• Previous internships or work experience in  civil/structural engineering, operations or other technical role.
• Previous experience in a petrochemical design engineering environment
• Knowledge of site construction or steelwork fabrication is a plus
