Job OverviewΒ 

PlanetArt is looking for a Product Manager, Web to support the company’s Web R&D department. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Product Development, to plan the, execution, and tracking of web development projects. Candidate will also be responsible for web analytics, revenue growth and ensuring the success of their websites. The Product Manager is the business owner for their websites. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Β

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote)Β 



Requirements

What You’ll DoΒ 

Key ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Plan and execute web development projectsΒ 
  • Define project scope, objectives, and requirementsΒ 
  • Work closely with the team of Project Managers and web QA testers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentΒ 
  • Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time. Own the release dateΒ 
  • Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delaysΒ 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Content, to refine project scope and requirementsΒ 
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of web applicationsΒ 
  • Identify, document and prioritize defect resolutionΒ 
  • Create, update and maintain project documentation in ConfluenceΒ 
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to help resolve project-related issuesΒ 
  • Escalate issues to the Associate Director of Product Development when necessaryΒ 
  • Monitor website performance, analytics and revenue. Act as an owner for the web business.Β

What You Should HaveΒ 

Skills, Qualifications, and RequirementsΒ 

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesΒ 
  • 3+ years technical project management experience requiredΒ Β 
  • Technical understanding of mobile/web technologies, platforms, and development methodologiesΒ 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsΒ 
  • Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile/web applicationsΒ 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences including technologists, executives, business partners and IT team membersΒ 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentallyΒ
