A Day in the Life

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for both the traditional and new lending flows, working very closely with Engineering, Business Development, Legal, and many other areas of Lendistry. This role requires strategic leadership, excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization and a keen understanding of project status reporting. While this position can be remote, it will be required to adhere to Eastern Time work hours, collaborating with teams in Europe and Asia, and may require some travel.

What You’ll Be DoingΒ 

β€’ Comfortable working on a project with unknowns, not have a lot of structure and can quickly pivot and change direction based on merits of the new information.Β 

β€’ Experience with Lucid, Mind map, Github, Figma, Confluence, Jira, Slack, etcΒ 

β€’ Collaborate with a cross functional team to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps.

β€’ Define detailed use cases intended for engineering and design.

β€’ Represent business interests during design and development phases.

β€’ Work with Stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time.

β€’ Work with the Customer Success Team to provide a high degree of post-launch support for programs.

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise:Β 

β€’ Technical proficiency with a strong sense of user experience, tact, and business judgement.Β 

β€’ Excellent presentation abilities and be able to drive a concrete vision and requirements that rally the team and delight customers.Β 

β€’ Strong leadership, action bias, process flexibility and interpersonal skills.Β 

β€’ Technical experience with the ability to deep dive into the details.

Education and Experience:

β€’ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Β 

β€’ 2-3 years Technical experience at a FinTech, Small Business lending, Personal Lending, Mortgage, or Financial servicesΒ 

β€’ 3+ years of experience working in a Project Management role.Β 

β€’ 3+ years of experience working in IT/Development (SDLC Lifecycle)Β 

β€’ In depth understanding of project management concepts and techniques as provided by the PMBOK/ Project Management Institute (PMI).Β 

β€’ Certification or training in one or more of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP), ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, Agile Certified Professional (ACP), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

COMPENSATION RANGEΒ 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $122,000 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Β  It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.Β  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
