A Brief Overview

The Staff Program Manager is accountable for driving and managing the execution of cross functional programs in alignment with strategic business priorities and goals.Β  This role enables execution and implementation across multiple teams, facilitating decision making, stakeholder engagement, assessing change management and managing risk, all within a Value Stream construct.Β

What you will do

  • Responsible for a variety of portfolio projects ranging in complexity spanning one or multiple lines of business
  • Define success criteria in partnership with stakeholders, direct the team in alignment with those goalsΒ and hold parties responsible throughout project and program life cycleβ€―
  • Develop governance structure to keep key stakeholders aware and involved and ensure their requirements are accounted for in the solution and delivery timelineΒ Β 
  • Manage the day-to-day program activities and resources
  • Allocate resources to maximize efficiency and outcomes, with proficiency in leading complex negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, executive leadership, and key partnersΒ 
  • Identify and understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needsβ€―Β 
  • Ensure solutions address intended outcomes while also anticipating risks / issues and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Promote the development and sharing of best practices and knowledge to proactively address risks and prioritiesΒ 

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degreeΒ 

Experience Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in Project/Program Management

Training/Certification Requirements

  • PMP preferredΒ 
  • Agile methodologies preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to align project goals and outcomes with broader organizational objectivesΒ 
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope, requiring evaluation of identifiable factors and good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Advanced experience with various project management and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Monday.com, MS Office suite)
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale transformation programs with multiple related projects
  • Ability to collaborate, direct, and motivate cross-functional teams, holding team members accountable for their contributions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, build strong relationships and effectively influence without authorityΒ

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $87,600.00 to $175,300.00. Β All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. Β All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
