As the technical lead for Content Operations Scaling Programs, you will be responsible for conceiving and delivering a suite of products that facilitate hyper-scaling the Core Curriculum organizationβs content output. Broadly, you will build, instrument, and manage mechanisms capable of sourcing and handling internal and external content at aggregator degrees of scale. Focus areas will include building program instrumentation and telemetry, creating automation frameworks and toolsets for both content delivery and task management, and integrating the technical toolsets and data stores required to deliver these instrumentation and automation workstreams.
Key job responsibilities
Instrumentation & Reporting
β’ Creating a reporting suite that easily tracks the inputs and outputs of 200 content builders, allowing the organization to better measure velocity and cost.
β’ Unifying data from QuickSight and Torta into centralized reporting system, providing holistic view of program performance and content effectiveness.
Content Automation
β’ Developing mechanisms to automatically detect, acquire, and convert high-value content from repositories including AWS Knowledge Base and Support Content into high quality training content (e.g., using standardized templates, conversion scripts, and automated quality checks).
β’ Implementing automated media validations (e.g., Amazon Transcribe for audio quality, a11y standards for accessibility) to flag issues to content creators, reduce QA rework, and mitigate the risk of premature content deprecation.
β’ Automating the routing of customer feedback to into the Taskei intake system, enabling rapid issue response.
Task Automation
β’ Deploying Taskei as the central task management system for the Aperture crowdsourcing program and implementing an API connection to synchronize between the system and AdaptiveWork for coordinated roadmap planning and status tracking.
β’ Establishing fundamental architecture for process automation, integrating content development, validation, and publishing workflows to reduce manual intervention and accelerate content delivery.

Our portfolio comprises 1,000βs of learning experiences, covering 100βs of discrete AWS services. We build for all levels, from introductory to advanced and support global learners across 22 languages.

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- 3+ years of software development experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
