Role Descriptionβ
Lead discovery for large-scale, high-visibility transformation initiatives with significant cross-functional complexity and executive visibility.
Define the business problem, strategic intent, scope boundaries, outcomes, value measures, assumptions, dependencies, and prioritization rationale.
Drive stakeholder alignment across business, IT, Finance, Transformation Office, Architecture, Solution, Program Management, and delivery teams.
Evaluate and qualify complex transformation demand for strategic alignment, business value, readiness, risk, dependencies, and organizational impact.
Create and oversee high-quality demand packages that enable a clean handoff into technical assessment, program planning, governance, and delivery execution.
Partner with Architecture and Solution teams to ensure business context is clear for ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) and technical solutioning.
Lead trade-off discussions across value, risk, feasibility inputs, sequencing, capacity, and strategic alignment.
Develop executive-ready narratives, recommendations, and decision materials for prioritization and governance forums.
Mentor Product Managers and Associate Product Managers on discovery standards, stakeholder facilitation, demand package quality, and value definition.
Monitor value realization inputs and ensure assigned initiatives remain connected to measurable business outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve intake, discovery, prioritization, and handoff processes and contribute to the maturation of the Transformation Office product management model.
Support change readiness and adoption by clarifying business impacts, stakeholder needs, and success criteria for complex transformation efforts.

Other Requirements
Bachelorβs degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
8β12 years of experience in product management, transformation, consulting, business architecture, product ownership, or technology-enabled business change
Demonstrated success leading discovery and stakeholder alignment for complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives
Experience developing business cases, value measures, executive recommendations, and execution-ready demand packages
Experience working across IT, Architecture, Solution, Program Management, Project Management, business, and executive stakeholder groups
Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
Ability to travel internationally
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to travel 25%
Preferred:
Masterβs degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience leading enterprise modernization, operating model transformation, workflow transformation, platform transformation, or large-scale business process change
Experience with enterprise technology ecosystems such as CRM, ERP, Planview, ServiceNow, Workday, WMS, or Palantir
Experience building or improving product management, intake, discovery, or governance operating models
Advanced proficiency with prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, weighted scoring) and portfolio-level roadmapping
Experience with advanced data analytics, KPI design, benefit realization tracking, and outcome measurement
Strong financial and business acumen, including ROI modeling, unit economics, and investment case development
Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and their application to transformation planning
Experience with organizational change leadership, adoption strategies, and stakeholder readiness assessment
Proficiency in executive storytelling, board-level communications, and strategic narrative development
Experience mentoring or coaching product managers and contributing to product management practice maturity
Experience with AI strategy, cloud transformation, and emerging digital technology adoption at scale
Experience operating in highly matrixed, global, or executive-facing environments
Experience with Jira Product Discovery or similar product discovery and backlog management tools
Experience with sales processes, marketing processes, or go-to-market strategy within enterprise transformation
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
