This position is for a Sr. Commercial Product Manager, PCR and is part of the Gene Reading Components Product Team. This is an on-site role which can be located in Boulder, Colorado, Redwood City, California or Coralville, Iowa.Β

In this role, you will:Β
Be responsible for product Life Cycle management of products in your portfolio, including building and leveraging market/customer & competitive insights to establish product 0β2-year forecast, understanding and using the Danaher Business System toolkit including fundamental tools (Problem Solving Process, Standard Work, 5S), and lean tools (Transactional Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping) to drive KPIs across all product aspects of quality, sales and support, and contributing to and executing product obsolescence and discontinuation strategy.Β
Serve as a subject matter expert for product uses and target markets/customers with continuous analysis of trends, competitors, channels, standards inclusive of recommending actions that drive product line performance.Β
Develop annual strategic plan and pricing strategy to achieve annual product revenue and margin growth objectives. Lead development, execution, and creation of targeted marketing messaging/content and sales tools including new and in-market product training.β― Partner with Regional Marketing and Product Marketing to execute Marketing plan.Β
Contribute to the product development strategy for our PCR portfolio, with a focus on cross-divisional collaboration that prioritizes customer needs, portfolio roadmaps, and integration into the IDT value proposition.Β Β
Partner with Quality and Operations on quality and supply issues to optimize inventory, reduce backorder, minimize scrap risks, drive margin expansion and own communication to the commercial teams and customers when necessary.Β

The essential requirements of the job include:Β
Bachelorβs degree in Life Science (chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.)Β Β
5+ years of experience in Product Management inclusive of demonstrated experience launching products and meeting financial and revenue goalsΒ
7+ years of experience in Life Science, Diagnostics, or Biotechnology.Β
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional roles inclusive of finance, sales, operations, and/or marketingΒ
Ability and willingness to travel up <25% of time domestically and internationallyΒ
Β
It would be a plus if you also possess:Β
Advanced degree (Masterβs, PhD, MBA) in Life Science (chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.) or additional degree in Business (MBA).Β

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.Β
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Β
