Software Cloud Product Manager /Architect

KS2 Technologies is looking for a Software Cloud Product Manager /Architect to lead software development projects, manage product roadmaps, and ensure high-quality product delivery. What You'll Do:

  • Lead the product ideation, definition, and marketing / competitive analysis processes to create viable product marketing plans and development roadmaps that prioritize requirements features and functions.
  • Lead the execution of product roadmaps through the systems development lifecycle.
  • Ensure that KS2 software products provide an unmatched user experience within the market.
  • Ensure that KS2 software products exceed all customer facing SLAs and expectations, including performance, availability, and recovery objectives.
  • Design and develop robust software solutions for both internal and external use.
  • Analyze technical needs, define requirements, and create architectural plans.
  • Own the product roadmap - manage upgrades, updates, and new feature rollouts.
  • Write and test code when needed, ensuring efficiency and performance.
  • Lead and delegate development tasks while tracking project progress.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and implement system improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, present project updates, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Document software functionality, maintain system architecture, and drive enhancements.
  • Ensure that KS2 software products are designed with the most current architectural principles to achieve maximum flexibility, reuse, availability, recovery, and minimum maintenance effort.
  • Ensure that KS2 software products meet all applicable compliance, security, and governance requirements.
  • Working closely with the sales and finance teams, prepare annual and quarterly operating plans / financial budgets. Monitor results and take actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Source, select, validate, and manage vendor-partners needed to achieve product roadmaps and operating budgets.

Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable:

  • Update and improve KS2 career path documentation continuously.
  • Ensure that all assigned employees have clear job descriptions, annual individual development plans (including required industry certifications), quarterly alignment conversations, quarterly projects (Rocks) assigned and tracked and understand expectations for personal metrics.
  • Gather feedback on assigned employees from relevant stakeholders and ensure that it is synthesized into development plans and quarterly conversations.
  • Maintain a skills inventory for all employees using the standard KS2 skills tracking system including the competence level of each skill for each employee.
  • Ensure that employees are onboarded effectively, communicated with frequently, supported as needed for all work assignments.
  • Review and manage assigned employees' planned work and weekly results and take actions needed to achieve assigned targets for team.

What You'll Bring:

  • Required: At least 10 years of software product management/Cloud Architecture experience in addition to experience used as a substitute for a four-year college degree
  • Required: Deep knowledge of Cloud applications - End to End
  • Required: Strong expertise in front end and back end development
  • Required: At least 8 years of leadership and direct supervisory experience
  • Required: Experience in a software products company as an architect, product owner or product manager.
  • Required: Experience with and an understanding of software product architectural principles and best practices to include design for maximum flexibility, reuse, availability, recovery and minimum maintenance effort.
  • Required: Experience with and an understanding of common business processes and transaction processing.
  • Required: Experience with and advanced knowledge of DevOps / SDLC methods
  • Required: Experience with and advanced knowledge of testing and validation methods.
  • Highly desirable: Experience in a SaaS software products environment.
