Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Technical Product Manager to help define and evolve our vision and roadmap of Voomiโs catalog platform. This individual will work hand-in-hand with our CTO and Engineering team to lead and execute on the transformation of Voomiโs platformย
Key Responsibilities: Catalog Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and evolve the vision and roadmap for Voomi's catalog platform and item lifecycle, from ingestion to channel publishing.
Partner with engineering and architecture teams to transition from monolithic systems to scalable, modular services.
Drive data quality initiatives, automation of onboarding, enrichment, and publishing across multiple sales channels.
Define catalog data models, validation rules, and attribute structures to support 2M+ SKUs across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical domains.
Prioritize and deliver solutions for catalog deduplication, attribute normalization, and content enrichment (manual vs AI-driven).
Partner with supplier operations to streamline supplier onboarding, taxonomy mapping, and content syndication.
Coordinate with channel and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate, real-time sync of product data with Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and more.
Identify bottlenecks in current workflows (manual file reviews, content audit, ASIN linking) and drive automation.
Establish governance over catalog rules, standards, health metrics and automation.
Work closely with data engineering and ML teams to implement deduplication algorithms, NLP content generation, and semantic search enrichment.
Enable the setup of supplier self-service portals and tools to reduce internal overhead.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Senior Technical Product Manager in eCommerce, B2B retail, dropship, or marketplaces.
Demonstrated success managing large, complex product catalogs (ideally >500k SKUs) with supplier-driven data.
Strong understanding of product data attributes, taxonomy, and PIM (Product Information Management) systems.
Familiarity with AI/ML applications in content generation, deduplication, search relevance, or data enrichment is a plus.
Comfortable writing detailed product specs for engineers and working hands-on with data tools (Excel, BI tools).
Understanding of ETL pipelines, API-based integrations, and catalog data transformation processes.
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills; ability to break down complex workflows into actionable steps.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scaling systems and improving operational efficiency.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
