The Primary Care Development Corporation (PCDC) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing health equity through high-quality, accessible primary care. We partner with health centers, hospitals, private practices, behavioral health providers, and community-based organizations to strengthen the clinical, financial, and operational foundations of primary care.
PCDCβs Consulting team provides technical assistance, capacity-building, and strategic guidance to help healthcare organizations improve care delivery, prepare for value-based contracting, strengthen financial sustainability, and advance population health.
Position Summary
The Senior Program Manager, Consulting has a critical role in bringing structure, organization, communication, and momentum to complex projects across diverse healthcare settings. This external/client-facing position supports multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to ensure projects are well-planned, effectively executed, and aligned with client and funder requirements.
This position works across large, multi-faceted projects aiming to improve the quality of primary care, strengthen the financial position and operational effectiveness of primary care providers, and advance the health of communities. These projects involve coordinating stakeholders from hospitals, FQHCs, private practices, human service organizations, and public health agencies.
Success in this role requires a professional who is highly organized, technologically skilled, initiative-taking in problem-solving, and comfortable navigating complex landscapes involving varied partners and systems. Equally important for the role is system-thinking strength. Finally, the ability to build professional relationships and maintain trust are essential competencies for this position. This role reports to the Vice President of the Consulting team.
Work schedule: PCDCβs business operating schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am -5pm. A hybrid work schedule at PCDC means travel to the PCDC corporate office as needed or required.Β
Annual Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000 contingent on experience. (Exempt)

Position Responsibilities:
I. Project Planning & Execution
Β· Create, manage, and continuously update detailed project workplans.
Β· Identify risks early and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Β· Determine how multiple project components fit together and ensure workstreams remain aligned.
Β· Use contextual knowledge, secondary research, and industry awareness to advance project work forward.
Β· Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
2. Stakeholder Coordination & Convening
Β· Pull together project parties and stakeholders to advance project work.
Β· Develop effective meeting and convening structures tailored to diverse audiences across healthcare, human services, and public health.
Β· Coordinate all aspects of stakeholder engagement, including meeting agendas, facilitation materials, timelines, and follow-up actions.
3. Project Communications & Materials Development
Β· Distill complex information into simple, accessible, user-friendly collateral.
Β· Create high-quality project materials including roadmaps, process guides, templates, slide decks, toolkits, and other resources.
Β· Draft project-related materials that inform PCDCβs marketing and communications efforts (e.g., project stories, case studies, etc.)
Β· Draft and review reports that meet funder, client, and internal standards.
Β· Prepare content and materials for meetings, webinars, workshops, and multi-stakeholder gatherings.
4. Logistics & Operational Support
Β· Manage logistics for meetings, webinars, and convenings, including planning agendas, documenting notes, and supporting Zoom webinar setup and execution.
Β· Track decisions, action items, and next steps to maintain project momentum.
Β· Maintain organized project documentation, files, and communication channels.
5. Data Collection, Analysis & Visualization
Β· Develop tools for effective data capture (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey).
Β· Use Excel or other tools to analyze and visualize data to support project conversations, inform planning, and advance deliverables.
Β· Synthesize findings into clear insights for internal and external audiences.
