Requirements

As a Senior Product Owner III, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction and strategic execution of complex products, features, and programs. You will independently lead large-scale initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering, architecture, and product strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Execution

  • Own and drive the technical direction, architecture, and strategy of complex products and platforms.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and long-term viability.
  • Demonstrate mastery in at least one programming language, providing hands-on contributions and solutions for complex, multi-faceted challenges.
  • Apply deep software engineering expertise, ensuring best practices in design, development, and deployment.

Strategic Influence & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for tech, tool, and process reuse, optimizing efficiency and cost containment.
  • Drive measurable results, profitability, and financial sustainability for assigned products and platforms.
  • Align product development with client long-term goals and business objectives.
  • Contribute innovative insights to the team's strategic discussions and influence technical roadmaps.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to engineering, product, and leadership teams, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Effectively communicate high-stakes messages to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foster cross-functional teamwork, ensuring smooth collaboration from ideation to implementation.
  • Engage with executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive alignment and product success.

Mentorship & Team Development

  • Mentor and guide engineers, senior engineers, and SDETs, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
  • Provide technical leadership in decision-making and problem-solving, ensuring best practices are followed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, product ownership, or technical leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex, high-impact projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Mastery in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or equivalent).
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and modern development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and big-picture thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience working in agile and cross-functional teams, aligning business and technology goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive, IoT, cloud computing, or enterprise software development.
  • Familiarity with technical ecosystem and industry-specific challenges.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and making high-stakes technical decisions.
