About Comun

Comun’s mission is to help Hispanic immigrants turn their hard work into upwards mobility β€” starting with financial services that enable the transition from cash to the digital economy.

We offer checking accounts that immigrants can open using more than 100+ IDs from Latin America; more than 90K locations across the country to deposit cash; international transfers at market leading rates to 17 countries in Latin America; and 24/7 bilingual customer support with <5 min SLA across email, chat and phone.

A year ago we launched our own banking infrastructure, resulting in 100x revenue growth and 4x growth of ARPU. We currently process over $1.5B in transaction volume on a yearly basis, and crossed $100M in annualized international transfers just six months after launching them.

We’ve raised $30M from Redpoint, Costanoa Ventures, and South Park Commons, among others. Most of our team comes from leading fintech companies like Brex and Nubank.

We believe immigrants are the ultimate entrepreneurs, carrying a relentless work ethic in search of a better future for their families. Comun exists to serve them throughout their journey.

About the role

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager you will drive go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning to ensure product success through customer insights, cross-functional collaboration, and effective storytelling.

What you'll do

  • Product Narrative & Positioning: Craft the end to end story for each product; distill complex compliance and FX mechanics into simple, emotional benefits.

  • Persona-Led GTM: Translate research into activation paths and lifecycle triggers for our core user personas.

  • Launch Ownership: Drive 0β†’1 launches: sizing, segmentation, channel mix, success metrics, and iterations.

  • Repositioning & Surface Governance: Audit every marketing surface (site, app store, CRM, paid creative) and enforce message coherence.

  • Analytics Partnership: With Growth Analytics, define success metrics; with Lifecycle, build experiment plans that move activation and N-day revenue.

  • Market Intelligence: Track competitive moves and feed insights into roadmap and pricing.

You are

  • You are the DRI of the Narrative. If the story lands, numbers move, if it doesn’t, the fix starts with you, no excuses, no committee.

  • High Agency = Uncapped Growth. Comun’s activation ceiling is a messaging problem. Rewrite the narrative and you unlock LTV, retention, and expansion.

  • Ownership Extends Beyond PMM. Product ships what you position, Growth spends behind the hooks you craft, Lifecycle triggers the journeys you design. Their KPIs roll up to your scoreboard.

  • Accountability Is the Culture. When a launch underperforms, you diagnose, pivot, and relaunch, fast. Credit accrues to the team, accountability stays with you.

  • Clarity Drives Speed. Your positioning docs eliminate thrash, letting Engineering, Design, and Marketing execute in parallel and hit market windows others miss.

What success look like

  • Rapid Activation: Day-7 activation on new product launches β‰₯ 45 %.

  • Message Discipline: β‰₯ 90 % consistency across every customer-facing surface (quarterly audit).

  • Value Expansion: β‰₯ 20 % of newly activated users adopt our core account within 90 days.

  • Operational Rigor: Launches ship on schedule, within budget, and achieves β‰₯ 80 % of their defined success KPIs.

Requirements

  • 7–10 yrs PMM in consumer fintech, payments, or high-velocity marketplace; proven 0β†’1 and 1β†’N launches.

  • Mastery of activation levers: App-store CRO, onboarding optimization, lifecycle trigger design.

  • Fluent in growth analytics; SQL competency (Looker/Amplitude) to self-serve insights.

  • Spanish-English bilingual required; cultural empathy with immigrant communities.

  • Executive-level communicationβ€”slides, docs, and stand-ups that drive alignment and decisions.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience launching in LATAM or cross-border corridors.

  • Prior work with Segment, Iterable, and Snowflake.
