Product Strategy and Visionย - Define and drive the product vision for Sponsored Product Ads, ensuring alignment with Nordstrom customer experience standards and Nordstrom Media Network revenue goals. Evangelize this vision with key stakeholders across NMN,ย Digita, Ad Operations, Analytics, and Engineering.ย
Technical Vendor Managementย - Own the strategic relationship with Criteo, defining platform roadmap requirements, feature prioritization, integration needs, and performance expectations. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for vendor development and internal engineering teams.ย
Platform Strategy & Technical Enablementย - Define placement strategy, targeting capabilities,ย and adย quality standards for Sponsored Product Ads. Drive technical integration roadmap including API enhancements, data feed optimization, and measurement infrastructure.ย
Continuous Discovery and Insightsย - Monitor KPI performance for Sponsored Product Ads includingย fill rate,ย impression volume, click-through rates, conversion rates,ย ROAS, and incremental revenue. Keep current with competitive retail media offerings and industry best practices toย identifyย feature gaps and optimization opportunities.ย
Prioritization and Planningย โย Define and prioritize the product roadmap balancing advertiser demand, platform scalability, customer experience impact, and technical feasibility. Drive towards quarterly revenue targets whileย maintainingย ad relevance and customer satisfaction metrics.ย
Definition and Decompositionย - Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurement plans for platform features, algorithm improvements, targeting capabilities and reporting enhancements. Define technical requirements for vendor integrations and internal system dependencies.ย
Governance & Complianceย -ย Establishย and maintain ad quality standards, brand safety guidelines, and policy frameworks for Sponsored Product Ads. Ensure compliance with advertising regulations, privacy requirements, and Nordstrom brand standards.ย
Collaboration and Influenceย - Collaborate with Nordstrom Media Network Sales and Ad Operations teams to translate advertiser needs into product requirements. Partner with Analytics to define measurement frameworks. Align withย the site Customer Experience Product Teamsย on placement strategy and customer experience trade-offs.ย
Drive Impactย - Work with Engineering to drive progress against deliverables through day-to-day backlog management, agile ceremonies, and launch planning. Conduct regular business reviews with Criteo to ensure platform performance and roadmap alignment.ย
Measurement & Reportingย - Partner with Analytics teams to build comprehensive reporting showingย product andย campaign performance, incrementality analysis, and competitive benchmarking. Demonstrate ROI for brand advertisers and inform platform optimization priorities.ย

Qualificationsย

3+ years of product management experience in ad tech, retail media networks, or e-commerce platforms withย demonstratedย expertiseย in sponsored product or search advertisingย
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math,ย Businessย or related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experienceย
Strong technical aptitude with ability to work with vendor platforms, APIs, data feeds, and advertising technology infrastructureย
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, translating business requirements into technical specifications and holding partners accountable to roadmap commitmentsย
Experience working with ad operations teams, understanding campaign setup, trafficking processes, bidding strategies, and optimization workflowsย
Proficient in data analysis and advertising performance metrics (Fill rate,ย CTR, CVR, ROAS)ย
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organizationย
Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyย
Self-starter with strong drive and meticulous attention to detailโable to own initiatives end-to-end while ensuring nothing falls through the cracksย
Preferred:ย
Experience with retail media networks, specifically sponsoredย productย or search advertising in marketplace environmentsย
Direct experience working with Criteo or similar sponsored product platforms (Citrus Ad,ย Pacvue, Flywheel, Skai)ย
Background in searchย relevancyย algorithms, ranking systems, and auction mechanicsย
Experience conducting build vs. buy analyses and vendor selection processesย
Understanding of retail media measurement methodologies including incrementality testing and attribution modelingย
Familiarity with retail merchandising concepts, product catalogs, and inventory managementย
Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on advertising productsย
