The Senior Product Manager for Payment Systems and Fraud Protection will drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for some of Nelnet Campus Commerce's (NCCβs) most critical payment system modernization efforts. In the age of AI, financial systems are under increasing pressure from bad actors, and we are staying ahead of them by accelerating security and fraud detection for the 1,000+ college and 8+ million student accounts we manage nationwide. Reporting into the NCC product organization, this new role will own our cross-product fraud protection, detection, and reporting initiative as well as one of our existing related payment tools, partnering closely with teams across engineering, design, security, and compliance. This position is pivotal to advancing our company's competitive position in the higher education payments space and delivering measurable value to campus partners and student payers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Annual compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates living within 30 miles of an office location to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days per week.
