Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Technical/Innovation Center in Mountain View (CA), Austin (TX), or Warren (MI) three times per week, at minimum. This position can be located at either of these locations.

The Role
As Product Manager for In-Vehicle Authentication and Authorization, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of authentication solutions that enable secure, convenient, and personalized access to GM vehicles and services. You will define and deliver an authentication method strategy that enables the user to seamlessly navigate across mobile, web and in-vehicle platforms.Β You will consider existing and future authentication and authorization methods keeping GM at the forefront of user access. Your work will ensure that every customer interaction with their vehicle is both secure and frictionless.
You will drive alignment across Engineering, Design, Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Product teams to build authentication experiences that balance security, usability, and regulatory compliance. A strong systems-thinking mindset, user empathy, and the ability to simplify complex technical challenges are essential for success.
