Overview

HP’s Personal Systems division is building a next-generation commerce ecosystem designed to transform how millions of HP PC customers discover, purchase, and manage products and services.

The Media Network Solutions team is developing an intelligent, data-driven commerce platform embedded within HP’s software and device ecosystem. By leveraging customer behavioral data and HP-owned touchpoints, we deliver highly personalized recommendations, seamless payment experiences, and integrated subscription services.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager – Commerce & Payment to lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and growth of this platform. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in 0β†’1 environments, understands modern commerce systems, and can drive cross-functional execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for HP’s commerce and payment platform

  • Lead 0β†’1 product development across cashback, deals, subscriptions, payments, and recommendations

  • Present product strategy, business cases, and roadmap to senior leadership (VP-level and above)

Platform & Experience Development

  • Partner with design teams to define end-to-end customer experiences across Windows, web, and HP software ecosystem

  • Collaborate with engineering to define technical architecture and deliver scalable, reliable systems

  • Ensure tight integration across HP platforms and external partner ecosystems

Commerce & Payments

  • Own product areas including:

    • Cashback and deals

    • Subscription purchase and lifecycle management

    • Payment processing and transaction systems

    • Intelligent recommendation systems

    • Work closely with finance to develop pricing strategies, revenue models, and financial forecasts

Data & Growth

  • Leverage data to drive customer insights, personalization, and decision-making

  • Define and execute A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

  • Drive engagement and revenue growth through continuous optimization

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate across:

    • Engineering, Data Science, and Security teams to build robust, secure foundations

    • Marketing to define and execute go-to-market strategies

    • Finance and Accounting to ensure compliance and financial integration

    • Legal and Privacy teams to meet regulatory and compliance requirements

    • Manage relationships with external partners and drive integrations into HP’s ecosystem

Program & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs involving global stakeholders

  • Navigate ambiguity and align teams across a large organization

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in:

    • E-commerce, payments, subscriptions, or cashback platforms

  • Proven experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and execution

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Payment systems and transaction processing

    • Customer research, analytics, and insight generation

    • Software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum)

  • Experience working with:

    • Cross-platform ecosystems (Windows and web environments preferred)

    • Data-driven product development and experimentation (A/B testing)

  • Demonstrated ability to:

    • Lead complex programs with diverse stakeholders

    • Communicate effectively through presentations, documentation, and executive storytelling

    • Navigate ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:

    • Windows PC ecosystem and desktop user experience

    • Subscription lifecycle management and monetization models

    • Commerce financial modeling and revenue optimization

  • Knowledge of:

    • Legal, compliance, and privacy requirements in payment and commerce systems

    • UX design principles (customer journey, wireframing, usability)

    • Product marketing, branding, and customer acquisition strategies

  • Strong background in:

    • Data analytics, experimentation, and growth frameworks

    • Partner integrations and business development

    • MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus

  • Deliver a clear, compelling product vision and roadmap aligned across executive stakeholders

  • Launch and scale a high-quality, secure, and seamless commerce experience for HP customers

  • Establish and grow sustainable revenue streams from commerce services

  • Drive measurable improvements in:

    • Customer engagement

    • Conversion rates

    • Revenue growth

  • Contribute meaningfully to building a broader HP consumer software ecosystem

The pay range for this role isΒ $147,050Β toΒ $230,850Β USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
