Senior Product Manager
BleeWhy Blee:
Blee is an AI-first marketing content compliance platform. PayPal, NerdWallet, and Brex already trust us. We're YC-backed, founded by an ex-Adobe marketing ops leader and former lawyer, and we're defining a category that didn't exist two years agoβacross Fintech, Financial Services, CPG, Travel, and Life Sciences..
With offices in San Francisco and New York, we value in-person work but offer remote-opportunities for the right people. No matter where you join us, you can expect quarterly off-sites and opportunities to join other offices when you feel itβs important. Youβll be joining a team that values clarity, ownership, and shared responsibilityβand is focused on building something that genuinely improves how teams work.
The Opportunity
Blee serves the whole enterprise, not one team or workflow. Legal and compliance need rigor and control. Marketing needs speed and creative freedom. Operations need things to keep moving. The product has to work across industries, formats, channels, and risk appetites.
Every customer's AI is built and tuned on their own guidelines. As Blee grows, so does the opportunity to bring value to users and workflows the product doesn't fully serve today. Identifying new or underserved user groups, understanding what would make Blee valuable in their day-to-day work, and turning those insights into products and features that launch well and drive sustained usage is the most interesting problem in this role.
The Role
As Blee's first dedicated Product Manager, you'll own that problem end to end: discovery, spec, delivery, launch, adoption, iteration. You'll focus on identifying new or underserved user groups, increasing their usage, and launching features that make Blee more valuable to them. You'll work daily with engineering, talk to customers every week, and partner closely with our leadership team on what we build next.
This is a hands on role. You'll manage the backlog, reproduce bugs, make scope calls, and give engineering the context it needs to keep moving. You'll also help shape how the product function works as we scale.
Product development at Blee is a partnership. Strategy, customer insight, technical judgment, and execution all inform what we build.
You'll have ownership over day-to-day product decisions and execution while working closely with the product, engineering, and customer-facing teams on priorities and product direction. We expect you to bring ideas, challenge assumptions, and help the team reach better decisionsβnot simply administer a roadmap.
What You'll Do
Expand Blee to new user groups - Identify users and workflows that Blee doesnβt fully serve today. Validate their needs, translate common problems into reusable capabilities, and ensure new products and features fit coherently into the broader platform.
Turn ambiguity into clarity β Write requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and edge cases that give engineers the context they need to build effectively.
Run customer discovery β Speak with stakeholders every week. Combine those conversations with product usage and feedback from Sales and Customer Success to identify new or underserved user groups, understand the barriers to their adoption and repeat usage, and identify the underlying problems worth solving..
Prioritize new opportunities β Own the request queue across customers and internal teams. Develop a repeatable approach for distinguishing opportunities that can unlock meaningful usage across a user group from account-specific needs.
Drive features through launch β Coordinate releases from development through launch, including documentation, internal enablement, customer communication, adoption tracking, and iteration. Define adoption goals and use activation, repeat usage, and qualitative feedback to determine what to improve next.
Shape what we build next β Bring customer insights, usage signals, engineering context, and well-reasoned recommendations into roadmap and prioritization discussions.
Who You Are
A strong writer who can turn complicated or ambiguous problems into clear, actionable product requirements
Comfortable in the details; you'll reproduce the bug, examine the workflow, clarify the expected behavior, and write the test case yourself
Technically fluent enough to earn the trust of engineers and participate meaningfully in architecture and implementation discussions
Credible with both technical teams and senior legal, compliance, and marketing stakeholders
Able to recognize when an unmet user need represents a meaningful expansion opportunity, when a capability can drive broader adoption, and when an opportunity should not be pursued.
Always looking for ways to make yourself and your processes more efficient and streamlined by using AI or other tools
Who You'll Work With
You'll partner closely with Blee's leadership and work daily with our engineering team. You'll also work with Customer Success, Sales, and our Legal Engineering team, and build direct relationships with legal, compliance, marketing, and operations stakeholders inside our enterprise customers.
Requirements
3β7 years of experience as a Product Manager with direct ownership of shipping software
Experience managing an engineering backlog and taking features from discovery through launch
A track record of shipping B2B software for enterprise customers and expanding its usage across teams or user groups.
Strong customer-discovery and stakeholder-management skills
Experience in an early-stage or fast-growing environment where product processes had to be created or improved
You use AI daily in your own workβdrafting and pressure-testing specs, synthesizing customer conversations, querying product data, prototypingβand can point to specific things you no longer do by hand
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, and willing to work from the office two to three days per week
Willingness to travel approximately 10% to meet customers in person
Bonus if you previously worked as a lawyer, marketer, compliance professional, or other potential Blee user.
