What You'll Do:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be a strategic leader responsible for inspiring change, leading high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement across our portfolio. The position is highly involved in transitioning the prototype portfolio from legacy applications into a modern integrated ecosystem.Β  You will work closely with cross-functional partners spanning different levels and development teams to translate strategic roadmaps into tangible deliverables, ensuring efficient execution and alignment across all stakeholders. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, agile leadership, and a deep understanding of both business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality, customer-centric software Products.



Responsibilities
  • Guide the development, testing, delivery, and support of modern solutions utilizing contemporary tools such as cloud-based computing technologies (GCP, CaaS), JAVA, Angular, Spring Boot, GitHub, Tekton, Junit, jMETER, Gradle, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, FOSSA, Cycode, CI/CD pipelines, 42 Crunch, Quay, Hoppscotch, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Implement robust Agile development methodologies, including JIRA for Epic/Sub management, iteration planning, ceremonies, and retrospectives.Β 
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of modern development methods such as integrated use of GitHub CoPilot in IDE for development acceleration.
  • Develop and implement strategic migration paths from legacy technologies to new, advanced platforms modernizing and simplifying the portfolio
  • Guide and share a deep understanding of the core functionality of the prototype planning and management process
  • Lead day to day management and development for a team of Ford and Agency members, including responsibilities for position posting, hiring, releasing, and fostering career growth. (approx. 10)


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of knowledge of software development
  • Prototype domain knowledge
  • Understanding of Agile methods & best practices
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap with business Managers.Β 
  • Convert roadmap into features and prioritize the product backlog.Β 
  • Data-driven mindset for decision-making and prioritization
  • Internal & external management skillset for managing cross-team capabilities
  • Clear communication style both laterally to business partners as well as upwards to management for relationship building
  • Ability to develop deep understanding of product functionality to provide high-level guidance to development teams
  • Experience leading a global team from both technical and delivery perspectives.
  • Proven ability to 'own working together' with global IT teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong independent and collaborative skills.Β 
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field, Master’s preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background in cloud deployment/CI/CD technologiesΒ 
  • Vendor management experience
  • SAP or 3DX experience

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $129,600-244,680.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.Β
