DescriptionA Day in the Life:
As a Senior Product Manager on Hertzβs team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in our omni-channel customer experience for Value Added Services (VAS), ranging from booking, post-booking, check-in and on rent. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, design, marketing, finance, and data science teams to build optimized solutions and launch features and products in a complex environment.Β
What Youβll Do:
- Define and prioritize product initiatives that will enable the growth and scale of Hertzβs ambitions, which is one of the major priorities of the business.
- Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design, marketing, finance, and data science teams both domestically and internationally.
- Communicate across constituencies: within cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to HertzΒ
- Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision making
- Articulate and systematically test product hypotheses
- Navigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicators
- Identify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of strategic product changes.

What Weβre Looking For:
- 4+ years of Product Management, Product Strategy and Analytics, Revenue Management, and Marketing Strategy in one or more preferred
- A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Marketing or substantially similar program
- Experience launching successful consumer facing products: including leveraging data to identify opportunity, creative go-to-market strategy, defining outcome-driven product roadmaps, prioritizing competing requests and managing internal stakeholders.
- Ability to drive roadmap and execution of a product with significant operational complexity.
- Work deeply with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and finance team(s) to ideate on solutions to business problems.
- Capability to impact areas outside of immediate scope, especially in cross-functional initiatives.
- Run / Design / Present competitive benchmark and internal data assessments to uncover new opportunities and turn them into insights that align with company goals.
- Strong communication skills to include storytelling (ability to tailor message to different audiences), with the ability to work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and explain outcomes.
- Strong product sense, aligning work with business objectives and making appropriate trade-offs.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Advanced knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel) required.Β
- Specific experience in vehicle rental, used vehicle markets or travel services is desirable.

We expect the starting salary to be around $150,000 with annual bonus and profit sharing eligibility. Β The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience
