The opportunity
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced civil engineer who enjoys leading projects, supporting people, and building strong client relationships. You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and land development work while partnering closely with the Civil Manager to help deliver quality outcomes across the wider team.
It will suit someone who brings a strong technical foundation, enjoys leading from the front, and wants a role where they can make a visible impact while continuing to grow their career.
What you’ll bring

• 6+ years of New Zealand civil engineering experience, with solid project management capability
• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others within a project or team environment
• A relevant engineering qualification; CPEng would be an advantage
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills, including relationship building and commercial awareness
• A sound understanding of New Zealand design standards, land development processes, and council approvals
