Senior Civil Engineer - Project Lead

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Lead to drive civil and land development projects in Wellington.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Project Leadership: Take full ownership of complex civil and land development projects from initial concept through to council approvals.
• Team Mentorship: Guide and support a small, capable team of intermediate and junior engineers.
• Technical Delivery: Oversee and deliver practical, buildable designs across stormwater, wastewater, water supply, earthworks, and roading utilizing Civil 3D.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, local authorities, and contractors.
• Construction Monitoring: Provide high-level oversight on-site and handle contract management.

• 6+ years of New Zealand civil engineering experience with a proven track record in land development.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers and managing client relationships.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NZ design standards and local council approvals.
• Strong proficiency or oversight capability in Civil 3D workflows.
• A relevant tertiary engineering qualification.
