Job Description

We’re looking for Senior Civil Engineers with a background in transport projects to join our high-performing Auckland team. Whether your experience lies in site works, drainage general roading, utilities, transit projects, construction supervision, or broader civil infrastructure, we’re open to shaping the role around your unique skillset and career goals. You'll contribute to a diverse range of exciting transport projects that shape New Zealand’s future, such as North West Rapid Transit, Eastern Busways and Wellesley Street Bus Improvements.

How you’ll make a difference

  • Deliver and support the design of transport infrastructure projects ranging from early concept through to detailed design.
  • Β Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative and practical civil engineering solutions across both major and smaller-scale transport projects.
  • Coach and mentor graduates and early-career professionals, helping to build technical capability and foster professional growth within the team.

Salary range for this role is $115 - 137k p.a + benefits. Flexible working pattern including start/ finish times and working from home. Ideally we are looking for someone full-time (40 hours per week) but we are open to part-time (30 hours per week) to support and encourage work/life balance.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 5 years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on transport-related projects, ideally in New Zealand.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for contributing to complex infrastructure projects.
