The AWS Applied AI Solutions Finance team is seeking a highly effective Program Manager to support our fast-growing and innovation-driven organization. Our mission is to build the world’s best agentic AI applications – and we’re looking for a strategic, execution-oriented program leader to help shape how we plan, measure, and accelerate our financial and operational success.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about artificial intelligence, curious about emerging technologies, and energized by working across teams to drive results. The Program Manager will support a range of cross-functional initiatives across Finance, Data Analytics, and Strategic Planning-while also playing a key role in supporting the CFO and broader Finance leadership.


Key job responsibilities
AWS-wide Program Leadership
- Partner with the Applied AI Finance Leadership Team to manage AWS CFO-lead program(s) with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Own executive briefing documents, metric scorecards, and strategic insights for leadership reviews
- Coordinate high-visibility deliverables and synthesize business and financial results to support effective decision-making
Applied AI Finance Program Management
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives across Finance, Data Science, and Analytics, such as forecasting tools, KPI standardization, cost transparency, and automation efforts
- Lead cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and expected impact
- Track milestones, risks, and dependencies while creating scalable mechanisms to monitor and report program progress
- Define project scope, draft business requirements, and support user testing and operational readiness
- Collaborate closely with partners across Data Engineering, Sales Operations, and Business Operations to drive process improvements and deliver results.


- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree

- 2+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
