Job Description

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Project Manager to join our delivery team supporting Federal clients. The ideal candidate combines client-facing leadership skills with hands-on functional expertise, bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. This role will lead delivery activities, manage project scope and timelines, and work directly with stakeholders to define and document business requirements, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with mission objectives.Β 

Key ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Provide thought leadership for product development and implementationΒ 
  • Manage aggressive schedules with the highest qualityΒ 
  • Serve as the functional expert for a proprietary tool setΒ 
  • Suggest inputs for improvements in productsΒ 
  • Approach problems with an innovative solution-oriented mindsetΒ 
  • Serve as the primary client-facing lead for project delivery, managing communication, expectations, and stakeholder engagementΒ 
  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across Agile or hybrid methodologiesΒ 
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, document functional and non-functional requirements, and translate them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteriaΒ 
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams, architects, and QA to ensure solution alignment with business goalsΒ 
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change control documentationΒ 
  • Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-team dependenciesΒ 
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements that drive efficiency and mission effectivenessΒ 
  • Support user acceptance testing, training, and transition to operationsΒ 
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with Federal standards and quality assurance requirementsΒ 

Qualifications

Β 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fieldΒ 
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project delivery roles, including at least 3 years in project management or business analysis within Federal environmentsΒ 
  • Proven ability to interface with clients and senior stakeholders, facilitating discussions and driving consensusΒ 
  • Experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping, and functional documentationΒ 
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologiesΒ 
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent)Β 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to both technical and non-technical audiencesΒ 
  • US Citizenship ; must be eligible for a Secret clearanceΒ 

PreferredΒ 

  • Prior experience in Federal IT consulting or program deliveryΒ 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certificationΒ 
  • ITIL or Agile CertificationΒ 
  • Experience supporting modernization or digital transformation initiativesΒ 
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, ERP, or CRM systems in Federal environmentsΒ 
  • Knowledge of Federal acquisition, governance, and reporting processesΒ
